CLR: Chemical Liquid Refining
XFuel’s Chemical Liquid Refining is a radically innovative low cost process, turning waste and non-waste hydrocarbons into ultra clean drop-in fuels. Known as CLR, this technology is a one-step, extremely low-cost refining and valorization process. The modular nature of our design allows for CLR plants to be built in strategic locations, with close proximity to feedstock supply or fuel delivery locations.
The capabilities of CLR
What goes in the CLR?
Contaminated and waste fossil and biogenic hydrocarbon liquids such as high sulphur, heavy metals, high oxygen and more. The CLR can also act as a refininer of heavier, low-quality fuels.
What goes out the CLR?
The CLR produces fuels from a range of different specifications from marine gasoil, EN590 road diesel, to sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) standards.
